Types of Keywords

1. Short-tail keywords

Short tail keywords are search phrases with only one or words. also known as generic keywords and they are very competitive to rank for

2. Mid-tail keywords

Medium-tail keywords are moderately competitive key terms consisting of two to three words and slightly more descriptive than generic head keywords.

3. Long-tail keywords

Long-tail keywords are the longest search terms and targeted to a specific topic, These terms have low search traffic and are low-competition keywords, which makes easier to rank

Example: “custom polo t shirts for men’s”

Types of Targeting Keywords

    These keywords are directly reference a company’s products or services
  2. Branded keywords
    These keywords are directly reference brand name along with a product
  3. Competitor keywords
    These keywords are target brand names of competing businesses, products, or services.
  4. Geo-targeted keywords
    These keywords are target a specific neighborhood, city, state, or even country.
